Environment Day Celebration

On the occasion of Environment Day on 5th June, a speech, poetry and song singing competition was organized in the premises of the college. The program was organized by the Department of Geography which was presided over by the Principal of the college, Mr. Rohtash , Head of the Geography department, Mr. Anil Kumar and other members Mr. Anwar, Mr. Saurabh. In this program, important information related to the importance of environment, utility, challenges before the environment and their solutions were provided to the listeners by the speech of the head of the department and the speech, poetry and songs of the students. The responsibility of conducting the stage was played by Mr. Saurabh ji along with Ravindra, Geeta, students of BA 6th Semester, Jyoti and Preeti of BA 2nd Semester and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Mrs. Urmila and Mrs. Amrit Kaur played the role of judges of the competition. In this competition Puran Singh of BA 2nd Semester got first, Vandana of BA 4th Semester got second and Annu of BA 6th Semester along with Jyoti of BA 2nd Semester got joint third position. The winners were honored with Merit Certificate by the Principal of the college.
